We are embarking on a new venture - Iowa's Rooster Ridge, LLC - in combination with our Iowa Hunting Adventures.

Our business offers guided hunts for pheasants, turkey & deer. In the past, we have put our hunters in local motels and had them eat at local restaurants. We have needed a central location for lodging and dining, a place where our hunters can sleep, eat, kick back, relax and share their stories.

To remedy this, we are buying 80 acres of land that includes about 20 acres of timber plus food plots with the remaining in CRP that will be planted to native grasses. This land offers pheasant, deer and turkey hunting.

We are currently designing floor plans for a lodge that will accommodate up to 12 guests with a great room (large gathering room), bedrooms, kitchen, mudroom/animal cleaning room and basement. In addition there will be a kennel for our hunters dogs.

For an investment of $25,000 (more if you wish), you would become a shareholder and entitled to CRP income & lodge proceeds. We are planning to rent out the lodge facilities during off-seasons for additional income. Other benefits would be tax breaks and/or write-offs. This land will be reserved for investor hunting only with the lodge facilities available for rent to hunters and the public.

Investors may also want to utilize our guided hunts to gain access to over 2,500 additional acres.

Depending on the interest and response we receive, purchase of more land is a possibility.
